Ice skating ambience: here you can hear the echo-induced atmosphere created by cold ice. The laughter and chatter of people reflect against the walls of this big hall. You can hear the slashing of ice and the swoosh of people racing against each other. An upbeat music can be heard further enforcing joy. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg. This is a great sound to create a joyful atmosphere.

Skates on ice: here is a very specific sound effect. The metallic slash through ice when it is being skated on. There are multiple variations of this in this track due to the amount of contact the blade of the skate has to the ice and also the force being put into the movement. It is a sharp and cold sound. A recording of me walking through the snow which was fairly soft fluffy snow. There are also some places in the recording where i step on some brittle ice which crunches cracks louder.

Very clean recording of an ice cream truck outside, playing joplin's "the entertainer". I started and stopped and awkward times since we were in between takes, but if you have sound skills, its easily loopable. While on set in downtown la, an ice cream truck visited our crew. The rest is history. .

Recorded inside a home freezer. At 35 secs the sounds of cracking open or unwrapping something frozen begin. The freezer hum is very audible throughout. Stepping in crunchy snow.

My mother in the kitchen just around the corner from my closed bedroom door getting some ice from a square ice bucket in the freezer which is right at the entrance to the kitchen. You can hear them drop into her big glass and pop when they hit the water. I was recording out the window at the time. You can hear an american robin, red cardenal and mourning dove as well.

What you're hearing is water bubbling in a bucket. I placed some cold ice directly in the middle of it and it produced this wonderful sound! it sounds a lot like a bubbling cauldron, so it can definitely be used for halloween!.

Ambience of a night in december. It snowed earlier in the day, with freezing rain after. In this you can hear icy trees crackle as they sway in the wind. A block away, motorists are passing by. Some people yell out. A one-note wind chime is dinging, sometimes another wind chime sounds. Some ice falls, and various other little things happen. . . This was an attempt at the ice speed record by a rocket powered snow machine called the arctic arrow. The old record was 247 mph. On this run he goes 241mph but at the finish line he loses control and crashes quite dramatically! the driver, kurt anderson walked away. I have photos of the crash as well if interested.
